The case of one thing that leads to another – I was checking on Ridley Scott films ( I am seeing a lot of Martian lately )… from Ridley I somehow ended up on Dan O’Bannon and what inspired him developing the Alien story – one of the stories ended up being a “short story by Clifford D. Simak in which a crew lands on an asteroid and discovers a chamber full of eggs”.
I used to read a lot of Simak growing up and decide to look up the story.
